More information can be found at Michigan State University's Second Language Studies' Students Page as well as its Corpus Linguistics Lab.

    My Story

I am a current Ph.D Candidate in Michigan State University's (MSU) Second Language Studies program. I received my MA in TESOL from MSU, and also hold a BA in English, and a BA in Secondary Education from MSU’s College of Education. My research interests include computer-assisted language learning (CALL), user experience, automated writing evaluation (AWE) systems, the relationship between technology and cognition, and corpus linguistics as a learning tool.

I have had a variety of employment opportunities, which have given me experience in teaching (at the secondary and college level), developing online material for classroom instruction, assisting college faculty in several technology-related positions, writing center consultation, and conducting collaborative research.
